Job Description

Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital District has an opportunity for an Interim Practice Administrator for its employed practice.  This practice includes 4 FP/OB's, 7 mid-level providers and operates at 3 locations.  The practice was recently acquired by the hospital and is being integrated into the hospital structure.  

Main Purpose

Practice Administrator will oversee day to day operations in the clinics including one still owned by the practitioners.  This position is responsible for all operations for the owned practices plus the specialty practices (ortho and pain management), and will be a member of the senior leadership team.


5-10 Years

Competencies / Skills

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field with emphasis on Healthcare Administration is required. An MHA or MBA is also preferred.

Five years of experience in practice management, preferably in a multi-location setting including management experience. Knowledge of operating policies and procedures of a medical practice

Working knowledge of healthcare financial management, specifically physician practice reimbursement, billing and collections, accounts receivable management, operations improvement and practice growth.

Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
